The Bhutan National Badminton Team is set for a challenge at the Badminton Asia South Asia Regional Championships 2024 in Islamabad, Pakistan!
In the Under-17 category, we have Mr. Ngawang Rigsel Jurmey and Ms. Kritty Gurung, while Mr. Sonam Phuntsho Tsheten and Ms. Yangchen Dolkar will be representing in the Under-15 category led under the guidance of Coach Dorji.
The team arrived in Pakistan on February 23th. They are currently undergoing specialized training led by expert coaches from Badminton Asia until March 1st, 2024.
This championship, now in its third edition, provides an excellent platform for our young talents to demonstrate their skills, compete with the best from South Asia Regional, and learn from experienced coaches during the special training.
