National coach of National Team Training, Mr. Sherab Gyaltshen currently at Samtse. At Samtse Higher School, he has been training beginners and potential players. He trains kids from Samtse Lower School, ages 9 to 14, from 10 am to 1 pm each morning. There are 13 males and 17 girls in morning session. He trains 14 boys and 12 girls, ages 15 to 19, from Samtse Higher School in the afternoon session from 2 to 5 p.m.
He highlighted the necessity for consistency in badminton and the grooming of young talents. He believes that if these youngsters were given more opportunities, they would excel in badminton.
This Samtse Higher school summer coaching session is being joined by 56 kids in total. The coaching camp began on August 17, 2022, and it will end on August 25, 2022.
