Congratulations Sapuna!!!
Ms. Sapuna Subba won Bronze Medal in Women’s Singles and Mixed Doubles in her category-SH6 (short stature) in Asian Youth Para Games 2021. Thus she has created history in the development of Para-badminton, Badminton and Paralympic movement in Bhutan. She becomes the first para athlete to win medal for the Bhutan Paralympic Committee and the Bhutan Badminton Federation.
She was trained under the supervision of National Coach for Para-Badminton, Mr. Dorji at the Gesarling Higher Secondary School for 3 and half months with indispensable support of the Bhutan Olympic Committee, administration of the Gesarling HSS, the Bhutan Paralympic Committee and Bhutan Badminton Federation.
