Today, the Bhutan Badminton Federation marked the conclusion of our Basic Badminton Coaching Camp and the beginning of our Summer Intensive Coaching Camp with a grand celebration of World Badminton Day, embracing the theme “Raising the Racket.” We were thrilled to have over 100 participants, including enthusiastic young players and supportive parents.
Our General Secretary shared insightful remarks about the significance of this special day and expressed his joy at seeing so many young badminton enthusiasts participating in our coaching programs, signaling a bright future for badminton in Bhutan.
The event was made even more memorable with coverage by the national media, BBS, highlighting today’s training session. The participants of the Basic Badminton Coaching Camp were awarded certificates, acknowledging their dedication and hard work.
To add fun to the celebration, we engaged participants and parents in exciting games of balloon badminton, followed by a spirited family doubles match. The participants also came up with the poster related to World Badminton Day. It was heartwarming to see everyone coming together to celebrate their love for badminton.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this day a success. Together, we are raising the racket and fostering a strong badminton community in Bhutan.
